Saturday, September 15th, 2007

Hi Fellow Profit Masters…. Randy here..

Long time, no see (or post as it were). Due to situations beyond my control I have been away from the action recently.

As all the readers of Profit Masters know, we’re all about freebies. SO…. I have a great freebie (yes.. it’s totally free) for you folks who like to blog. It’s called BlogRush and it could exponentially increase the exposure of your blog.

You can see an example in the side bar of Profit Masters. It’s just above Rick Raddatz’s video box. You can click on “Add Your Blog Posts – Free” link or the “BlogRush” tab and head over to the site. You can also click here and get there. When you land on the site there will be a short video. Watch it. It explains everything you’ll need to know about “BlogRush”.

Here are some of the highlights:

  • It’s Totally FREE…..
  • It’s simple to set up.
  • It’s very easy to configure
  • You can include any or all of your the blogs.
  • Every time someone opens your blog, you get exposure over the “BlogRush” network.

The BlogRush site does such a great job of explaining the process that I encourage you to go there right now! Here’s the link again:

GobalaKrishnan.Com

Tuesday, May 15th, 2007

Hi Fellow Profit Masters… Randy here.

I don’t know if you are familiar with Gobala Krishnan. His blog, gobalakrishnan.com is another great resource for internet marketing information. I use his Super Adsense Theme on a couple of my marketing blogs. They are easily adapted to your needs. Don’t get hung up on the Adsense in the title. It works just as well with Yahoo Overture, Thundertext, and BetterTextAds.

If you blog, and you should, you’ll be interested in Gobala Krishnan’s Internet Home Business Project. He’s offering to exchange links with your site, whether it’s a blog or regular website. If you need to push up your rankings, it’s a good deal!

GobalaKrishnan.com is a blog that helps you start your own Internet home business. If you review his blog on your site, he’ll link back to you and send you a ton of traffic.

All I know is that if you want to spread your URL around the web, this is an opportunity you can’t refuse. It’s free, so you can’t lose anything. All you’ll be out is the time it takes to go to the website and work the exchange.

Blogging Wars – Wordpress Vs Blogger

Monday, April 16th, 2007

The following post was provided by Gobala Krishnan. If you wish to provide content to Profit Masters, please contact us at profitmasters@itmservshop.com.

There’s a war going on in the blogosphere, and it has nothing to do with bloggers dissing each other on their respective websites. The war is about control of the blogosphere by several great, many good, and tons of terrible blogging platforms. The average newbie now has “too many” options to choose from, and the battle for blogging supremacy is hotter than ever.

At my website and blogs, I’m always asked the question “Is Wordpress better than Blogger?”. The answer, of course, is “Yes”. But to really understand why, it’s important to look at both blogging platforms side-by-side and see which one you really need.
Here’s the comparison scale:

Comments…. Comments….

Thursday, April 5th, 2007

Hi Fellow Profit Masters.. Randy here.

Just so you’ll know, I appreciate your honest and forthright comments about any post on Profit Masters. Fortunately, I moderate all comments. I do so to keep the SPAMMERS at bay. It’s seems lately that, for whatever reason, folks want to advertise their product(s) in the comments section.

I’m all for commerce, but this blog is about the techniques, methodologies, and skills of Internet Marketing. Please do not leave a comment that has no relationship to the post. Comments should be directly related to the posts. I have no problem with anyone putting their site URL in their comment. Just keep it down to one or two. Preferably in the signature. But, 15 lines of “buy ciallis” isn’t a comment. It’s SPAM….SPAM I TELL YOU!…SPAM!

So to insure we’re on the same page (no pun intended), remember that all comments must relate directly to the post. Positive or negative, I don’t care, as long as they relate to the post. All others will be marked as SPAM, not just deleted. I can do that. I have the power of WordPress!

Keep it simple children..

Building Your List with Articles

Thursday, March 15th, 2007

You can build your list simply by writing articles, whether you have thought of it or not.

Quite simply, you write and submit your articles on your topic of expertise or business nature to popular article directories where eZine publishers and readers are looking for the information you provide.

Content – Content – Content!

Tuesday, March 13th, 2007

Content is KING! (See “Churning Out eZine Content” posted on 2 March 2007.) When doing a eZine/Newsletter, you need to keep your content queued up for at least 3 editions. If you’re not a writer OR feel you don’t have the writing skills to produced loads of content you’ll need a source of public domain copy.

Search the eZine Article sites for content you can use. People are always giving away freebies when you go to a Sales Page. There are free PLR (Private Label Rights) sites all over the internet. I’ll plug in some alternate links at the end of this post.

What is a Blog?

Tuesday, February 20th, 2007

A good working definition of a blog is simply a journal or newsletter that is frequently updated and intended for the timely reading. It often provides opportunities for unfiltered and immediate feedback, sports an informal or even partisan attitude, and is written in a more personal style than traditional press outlets.

Blogs come in all shapes and subjects, from the maunderings of troubled teen souls to displays of classical photography to breaking news and commentary. They can be online journals, locked with a password shared by a few trusted friends, or they can be page after page of source code, sharing useful and free computer programs with the world. A blog may be an online journal tangential to a company’s main business, where users of a company’s products give feedback and ask for help. Blogs can be hosted by single individuals, shared by teams, or produced by entire companies. They may be hosted on a dedicated blog server using fancy templates or lovingly hand-crafted in HTML on a page that resembles a bulletin board.

Are you looking for a way to PROFIT from what you know?

Monday, February 19th, 2007

It seems that everyone today has a blog, a little piece of the internet where they share thoughts, opinions, and expertise with millions of readers. Teenagers, truck drivers, and high-powered lawyers write them, and millions of people read them every day. If you’re like most people, you probably read them yourself.

But did you know that a few elite blogs are actually profitable companies that bring products and customers together for the benefit of the author? It’s true! And that author could be you!
