Hello Fellow Profit Masters… Randy here…

Whether you intend to make money with a blog or a marketing website, the first thing you need to do is to get your own web space. Please take the time to research the different providers. Don’t get stuck with a high hosting bill and poor service. It’s easy to do. Also, take any recommendation you receive with a grain of salt. I know that I’ve tried various and sundry web hosts. I was led to believe that they are all created equal. They are not. You will also want to find one that will include domain names in the cost of the hosting. I know this sounds like putting all your eggs in one basket, but it’s much easier to manage. One bill covers all your hosting expenses. Much better for your tax prep next April.

I have my hosting favorites. I like 1&1. I’ve been with them for about 4 years now. I recommend 1&1 for Web Hosting. The only possible drawback for newbies is that they don’t use cPanel for administration. I happen to like their administration scheme. It works for me. Their help and support is excellent! No matter which one you choose, go get one now. You can’t set your brand if you don’t have you’re unique place on the web.

Now you have your new website and you are hot to start making some sales! But, how can you make sales if you don’t have high volumes of traffic to your website?

One of the challenges which people starting a new online business face is getting traffic to their website. This article outlines four important steps you must follow to start generating some traffic to your website.

1. Have unique content on your website. Search engine robots look at all websites on a regular basis looking for sites with fresh and new content. It is therefore important for you to have fresh and high quality content which will get your website quickly indexed by search engines.

2. Have all your keywords on your website. It is important that you have all the relevant keywords and phrases that relate to your topic on your web pages and any articles you post on your website. This will increase your website ranking on search engines which means that your website will rank high when people type keywords relating to your topic on search engines. You will therefore get many visitors coming to your site via the search engines. When people visit your website, the high quality content you have will make people spend more time on your site and ultimately buy some of the products or services you offer on your site.

3. Because your website is new, you must submit it to search engines. Submitting your URL to the search engines is an important step towards getting more visitors because it means your website will be visible from search engines. Having your website URL on search engines means that when people look for information relating to your topic on these search engines, they will find your website.

4. Exchange some website links with websites that have a high popularity rank (PR). Exchanging links with popular and related websites is an effective way to drive traffic to your website, and improve the raking of your site. You will get some traffic coming to your website through other websites that you have linked to.

5. Don’t forget the Social Networking sites like Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, MySpace, Squidoo, and all the rest. You can make a lot of contacts and harvest a lot of email addresses if you use these sites properly. There are tons of free apps for all of them to help you get friends and followers. Please understand their individual policies regarding SPAM. What one site considers SPAM may not be considered SPAM on another site. I have some recommendations for Social Networking apps. You’ll find one on TweetGlide below. Twitter Karma is also a good one to use.

As an afterthought, try offering freebies in exchange for email signups. People love freebies and they’ll trade an email address in a heartbeat. People love to join. This technique will help build your list and will help to fill your lead funnel. Remember that you will need a good autoresponder and I personally like AWEBER.

By following the tips outlined in this article, you will realize that increasing your website traffic and getting more people to visit your new website is very easy to do. All you need to do is to follow these steps and you will soon see an increase in traffic to your website which will mean a lot of sales and online profits for your internet business!

Learn a trick or two about working smarter as an affiliate marketer or as an internet marketer. Read Alice Seba and Melissa Ingold's article!

Hello Fellow Profit Masters… Randy here… I hope you enjoy this article. It was shared with us by Alice Seba & Melissa Ingold. That’s them pictured at the right.

Remember that you can contribute to Profit Masters and we’ll give you full credit. Just include your author information and we’ll print it when we post. We reserve the right to approve and edit if necessary. But we’d never print anything without your consent.

Now, Alice and Melissa’s article on Working Smarter.

As an affiliate marketer, you know better than anyone just how important it is to drive traffic to your affiliate website. After all, that is how you make a profit. However, affiliate marketing success takes strategy, time management and understanding the importance of how to work smarter, not harder.

The key to online affiliate marketing is to first learn affiliate marketing basics. Take the time to invest in an affiliate marketing guide, tutorial or affiliate marketing eBook. These tools can be instrumental in gaining the knowledge you need to become a successful affiliate marketer. You wouldn’t jump into the ocean without first learning how to swim. The same goes for learning affiliate marketing. Make sure you understand the basics before you jump on in.

Once you know and understand just what affiliate marketing is and how it works, you can then start earning money. Well, almost. Earning a living through affiliate marketing sales is more than possible, but you must be strategic. The key to success is to know how to make it work for you. Many affiliate marketing newbies often spend too much time focusing on what they are doing and not who they are doing it for.

While working hard as an affiliate marketer is important, it is equally important to spend your time wisely. Initially, it may seem like a good idea to advertise on every website, become members of multiple online forums, and write as many articles as possible, all in hopes of gaining visibility. But you will soon discover that many of these efforts will prove to be in vain.

So how do you drive traffic to your affiliate site without spending every waking moment trying to master the myriad of online media available to you? The answer is simple. You must work smarter, not harder. Building targeted traffic is a keystone for affiliate marketing success.

While being visible is critical to affiliate marketing success, you must be seen by the right people. Take the time know your audience, seek them out, and direct your message to potential customers, not every John and Jane Smith who happen to be surfing the web. Once you have identified who your audience is and where they can be found, driving traffic to your affiliate site becomes a much easier, and more effective task.

For example, if you are an affiliate marketer for a health and wellness service, you wouldn’t want to write an article for an auto industry website. Instead you may want to consider placing an ad in a family oriented newsletter. Or, you might consider websites and ezines that focus on cooking, exercise, and even clothing. The more strategic you are about targeting traffic through well-placed ads, enticing articles and unique offerings, the greater success you will have in affiliate marketing sales.

Your success as an affiliate marketer is dependent upon you and you alone. Don’t burn yourself out by saturating the internet with one-in-a-million advertisements, going after dead traffic or wasting your time in front of a less than interested audience. Instead, work smarter by knowing your audience and being strategic with your approach. Then and only then will you attain affiliate marketing success. People make the mistake in thinking that a business built to last is too much work, or takes too much time. Sure, youre going to have to work for it, but if you work SMART, you can get results faster than you may have thought. So, how do you work smart? The best things I’ve found, is to find someone else who’s ALREADY doing what you want to do and follow in her footsteps. If you want to follow in the footsteps of someone who’s been making a steadily increasing full-time with affiliate programs, go here:

Thanks to Alice and Melissa for sharing their article with Profit Masters. I hope that you found at least a tidbit of helpful information. Keep plugging at your niche or product. You’ll get where you want to be.

Whatever you call them - member only, membership, subscription, or mentor websites, they all have one thing in common. They are bringing in steady and constant cash flow for their owners

Hi Fellow Profit Masters… Randy here…

We’ve discussed starting a free membership site and how to get the tools we need to start one. Now we’ll talk about paid membership sites. This is where your skills as a marketer comes into play. No matter whether you’re an old timer or a newbie, you can start to generate a regular monthly income using a paid membership site. It’s easier than you think. Read on…..

Whatever you call them – member only, membership, subscription, or mentor websites, they all have one thing in common. They are bringing in steady and constant cash flow for their owners, month after month, from a few hundred dollars to tens of thousands of dollars. The array of the topics of these websites is endless.

PremiumCompounder.com.
Easy. Safe. No risk.

Some of these paid membership sites provide mentoring or coaching, others publish useful articles or information in a particular field or product. Still others publish the results of tests and studies or product reviews. Some membership sites provide specialized service or act as a meeting place for people with a common interest and then there are those that provide step-by-step instructions for such things as painting or music.

All these sites have one thing in common: to access the website (or the best information on the site) you have to pay for it! Which begs the question…why would anybody pay for information on the Internet?

The answer is simple. People buy information that they could probably find for themselves if they looked long enough and hard enough, because they want to save time or because they think the information will be better or more specialized or because the information just isn’t available to them unless they pay for it.

Just a few short years ago it was almost unheard of to charge for access to a website and almost no one was doing it. Today, however, it is the norm and not the exception. Actually we have Internet dating sites to thank for this huge money making opportunity.

The Internet dating industry began with free membership sites that were mostly populated by nerds, weirdoes and perverts. It was quickly discovered that ordinary people would gladly pay to have access to lists where the posters had been screened even just a little. Now people actually expect to pay for access to valuable information.

Hello Fellow Profit Masters… Randy here…

We’re running a series on our Profit Masters Blog about Membership Sites. If you haven’t had the opportunity, please go to the beginning and start reading from there. Now on Profit Masters we’ve started talking about membership sites, niches, themes, and so forth. The next big question is how do I implement one? By implement I mean just how do I get the software, get it installed, and test it properly. There are alternatives.

For starters, you’ll need web space. You’ll have to have a web hosting account and, in most cases Linux server hosting is preferable. A large number of Web Hosts are using Apache web servers to handle their web service needs. Fortunately, most membership site scripts need or like to work on the Apache web server anyway.

Most of the scripts out there use Perl or other CGI scripting languages to build the membership site. If you don’t know what “Perl” or “CGI” is, no worries. You don’t really have to. You will have to know which version of “Perl” your software requires, if the membership software is written in Perl.

If you are using some other software package you’ll need to know the particulars regarding the scripting language it uses. You should also know what version of MySQL your Web Host is running. After all, you have to put all that information you collect somewhere. Check with the software provider. Some membership site scripts use text databases instead of MySQL.

I know this sounds daunting to a newbie Internet entrepreneur. But believe me you’ll muddle your way through it. Just remember the rewards from running a good membership site are worth a little bit of a learning curve. Most of the information you need is already at your fingertips. You pay your Web Host for providing you web space. They should, most do, provide every bit of info you need to install and implement your membership site. There is probably a FAQ page or HELP page with all this spelled out for you. You just have to farm a little bit of knowledge from them. If it isn’t in plain sight, then utilize their help desk. You’re their customer remember?

You can spend a bundle on membership software. It’s not uncommon to find packages that run over $2000! There are less expensive solutions. It depends on your needs. There is a free membership site package called Locked Area Lite. Many folks use it and it comes well documented. It’s a free download covered by the GNU General Public License. I’ve installed it on my Web Host’s server and it went pretty well. It’s written in Perl. Remember my mentioning Perl previously?

Perl is often referred to as the “duct tape of the Internet”.
from Locked-Area.com website

They also have a solution called Open Crypt, which has tons of features, BUT it’ll cost you a little money. The ticket price on this puppy is $1119 plus or minus a few cents. But that’s the full meal deal. You can get it for less by picking only the plugins you need. The base price is about $236 without any plugins.

Another alternative is a good CMS package. CMS stands for Content Management Site. There are a number of them out there. One package is Joomla. Another package is CMS Made Simple. There are many others out there. These two are free downloads and relatively easy to use. Here again installation is pretty straightforward. I’ve installed both at one time or another. The installation was script oriented and all I needed to do was to plug in the information required and I was set.

Most CMS packages are PHP based, so you’ll need to know which version of PHP your Web Host is running and which version of MySQL they provide. Also you’ll need to set up a MySQL database to hold the data used by the CMS program. This doesn’t take any MySQL skills. You just set up the database in your Web Hosts Cpanel. Some hosts don’t use Cpanel. Mine doesn’t. They provide another option, but it usually isn’t a chore to get the database cranked up. If you have questions then go visit their help system for answers.

Your CMS site will come with templates for presentation purposes. Again these can be found for free. Many times the home site for the software will point you to free template sites. You don’t HAVE to download any templates, though. The CMS program will have some bundled in the download. Most can be customized to your specific need. You don’t have to have any HTML or PHP skills to use the software, but it never hurts to learn a little to tweak your templates.

There are other CMS downloads on the Internet. There are also sites that would love to sell you their CMS and customize it for you. These places will cost you for the services and software. Remember; start out with the least expensive software (FREE) as possible. You can always go with a more complex solution later if you have a need that calls for it.

Any way you look at it you need to do your homework. That’s what the Internet’s good for, isn’t it? Who knows, you might just find the little software gem that fills your bill without spending an arm and a leg. Also remember this, there’s nothing written in stone that says you’re stuck with any particular software package. Just keep good backups and you’ll be able to migrate or upgrade your membership site as the need arises.

If you still feel daunted by the thought of trying a membership site install or you’ve tried and something just doesn’t seem to work the way you think it should, you can always find a nerd or two who’ll do it for a fee. Most of the home sites for these packages have an install service available. But please, give it a try first. It most always works right the first time. And it you do have a problem; use their help desk or forum. Most all of these software providers, free or not, have an active forum. Join up and learn something.

Hi Friends… Randy here..

I was just poking around the internet and ran upon the recent price for a barrel of oil. Gosh! Was I ever suprised! Even though I’ve been watching the cost of a gallon of gasoline skyrocket in the last few months, I hadn’t full understood just how much we’re getting shafted by the crude oil suppliers! If you’re curious, the last price I saw was $147 dollars a barrel. $147 DOLLARS A BARREL!! Jesus y Maria!

From a individual point of view this is really putting a strain of our personal budgets. But consider your business budgets and your cash flow predictions. We’re all trying to do business on the web. You have a number of costs that are directly related to the price of a barrel of oil. Every trip you make to the Post Office or Shipper costs more. Your bottom line is impacted. The price you pay for goods you resell costs more. Your bottom line is impacted even more. You have to charge your customers more for shipping product. Big impact. Customers have less disposible imcome to spend on your offerings; whether you provide goods, services, or information. The price of oil is costing us in a huge way!

So why aren’t we doing something here at home to cut the demand!! I know that people are buying more efficient vehicles. But many, like the lady I recently spoke with in a local Wal-Mart, can’t. Many folks can’t trade out their old gas guzzlers ’cause they would be so upside down on the trade. Ergo, they’re forced to pay in the neighborhood of $90 just to fill up their rides. Damned if they do…damned if they don’t, sort of.

So maybe our State and Local governments could do something to cut the usage, hence cutting the demand. In Georgia a few years ago our Governor dropped the State tax on fuel. It helped, but it was only a bandaid to temporarily ease a political situation. It had no effect on the demand for oil. It just made it easier to consume more of it. Now the situation is even worse. I fear it has passed the political level. Someone, meaning WE need to take measures in our own hands.

So just what can we do? I’m open for suggestions. I have a few thoughts but I’m sure that most folks wouldn’t agree with them. They might seem a bit stringent. Here’s a list in no particular order:

Get with your political representatives, Senators, Congressmen, State Governors,State Senators, Representatives, County and City Officials, etc., and push for oil importation restrictions. Restrictions like not allowing oil prices to rise above a fixed level. Let’s face it, $147 a barrel is grand theft by taking.

Let’s address usage. We’re just going to have to realize that travelling around willy nilly isn’t a right granted to us by the Constitution. This is the part that will cause a lot of Americans pain.

We need to cut out all unnecessary driving. One way is to not allow high school students the right to drive themselves to school. We’re already paying for busses. Let’s use them. It may mean putting more busses on the road and hire more drivers, but we’d have to save money and the school boards could use the savings for educational programs.
Hopefully this would cut down some of the teen driving accidents and expose our young adults to fewer hazards.

Now here’s another suggestion that I’m sure will hit the “Most Unpopular Suggestions of all Time” list

Let’s re-enact the Blue Laws. If there are fewer places to go on Sunday, then maybe the quality of family life in America will have the opportunity to improve. Most major retailers will throw a fit about shutting down on Sunday. But just think how much the nation would save not only in vehicle gas usage, but from the reduction of the electricity these retailers suck up in a 24 hour period. Now I’m not talking about shutting down everything. Common sense says that churches, hospitals, government services, certain retailers (i.e., pharmacies, gas stations, and non-alcohol service restaurants) should have license to operate on Sunday.

It may sound a bit Puritan. God knows that I would feel put out at times if the Blue Laws were brought back. But, hey, we’ve all got to share the burden and responsibility. After all, if we hadn’t put up with paying outrageous gas prices we wouldn’t be in this mess. Remember that the price of a gallon of gasoline is due to the price of a barrel of oil. If we cut overall all usage, the demand will drop and hopefully the price of you future fill-up will reflect the drop.

Public Transportation. This is an old saw and not an idea many folks of middle income entertain. It does need more consideration. I do know that most well run public transportation providers, whether as Public or Privately owned, can get us around more efficiently and cost effectively than using single use privately owned vehicles.

I’m sure that there are many, many ways to help us conserve. Remember that this problem is not only an personal financial problem; it is a problem that affects the way you do business. If you have any ideas or solutions that you feel make sense, please feel free to leave a comment.

I will leave you with this thought from Mr.Stan Hall, columnist with the Loganville Tribune:

At some point and time, I will learn that there is little demand for common sense in today’s world. The fact that something just makes sense or is practical is of little use if it does not also satisfy the political appetite of one side of an issue or the other.

Stan Hall, The Loganville Tribune, page A7, 11 July 2008

So with all this being said, I’ll move on. Please feel free to pass this along to your friends and associates. Any reasonable suggestion is welcome. I’d just like to know what we can do together when we try.

Randy

Hi Fellow Profit Masters… Randy here.

If you’re writing an eBook, or anything for that matter, you’re liable to encounter writer’s block. I have and it can be frustrating. What is writer’s block? Well, I just can’t think of a single darn thing to say. Oh well, I’m outta here!

Sound familiar?
No! Oh, get real!

We’ve all experienced this phenomenon when we absolutely have to write something, particularly on deadline. I’m talking about. . . . .uh, I can’t think of what the word is . . . oh, yes, it’s on the tip of my tongue . . . it’s:

WRITER’S BLOCK!!!!

Whew! I feel better just getting that out of my head and onto the page!

Writer’s block is the patron demon of the blank page. You may think you know EXACTLY what you’re going to write, but as soon as that evil white screen appears before you, your mind suddenly goes completely blank. I’m not talking about Zen meditation
stare-at-the-wall-until-enlightenment-hits kind of blank.

I’m talking about sweat trickling down the back of your neck, anguish and panic and suffering kind of blank. The tighter the deadline, the worse the anguish of writer’s block gets.

Having said that, let me say it again. “The tighter the deadline, the worse the anguish of writer’s block gets.” Now, can you figure out what might possibly be causing this horrible plunge into speechlessness?

The answer is obvious: FEAR! You are terrified of that blank page. You are terrified you have absolutely nothing of value to say. You are afraid of the fear of writer’s block itself!

It doesn’t necessarily matter if you’ve done a decade of research and all you have to do is string sentences you can repeat in your sleep together into coherent paragraphs. Writer’s block can strike anyone at any time. Based in fear, it raises our doubts about our
own self-worth, but it’s sneaky. It’s writer’s block, after all, so it doesn’t just come and let you know that. No, it makes you feel like an idiot who just had your frontal lobes removed through your sinuses. If you dared to put forth words into the greater world,
they would surely come out as gibberish!

Let’s try and be rational with this irrational demon. Let’s make a list of what might possibly be beneath this terrible and terrifying condition.

1. Perfectionism. You must absolutely produce a masterpiece of literature straight off in the first draft. Otherwise, you qualify as a complete failure.

2. Editing instead of composing. There’s your monkey-mind sitting on your shoulder, yelling as soon as you type “I was born?,” no, not that, that’s wrong! That’s stupid! Correct correct correct correct?

3. Self-consciousness. How can you think, let alone write, when all you can manage to do is pry the fingers of writer’s block away from your throat enough so you can gasp in a few shallow breaths? You’re not focusing on what you’re trying to write, your focusing on those gnarly fingers around your windpipe.

4. Can’t get started. It’s always the first sentence that’s the hardest. As writers, we all know how EXTREMELY important the first sentence is. It must be brilliant! It must be unique! It must hook your reader’s from the start! There’s no way we can get into writing the piece until we get past this impossible first sentence.

5. Shattered concentration. You’re cat is sick. You suspect your mate is cheating on you. Your electricity might be turned off any second. You have a crush on the local UPS deliveryman. You have a dinner party planned for your in-laws. You . . . Need I say more. How can you possibly concentrate with all this mental clutter?

6. Procrastination. It’s your favorite hobby. It’s your soul mate. It?s the reason you’ve knitted 60 argyle sweaters or made 300 bookcases in your garage workshop. It’s the reason you never run out of Brie.

FACE IT ? IT?S ONE OF THE REASONS YOU HAVE WRITER’S BLOCK!

How to Overcome Writer’s Block

Okay. I can hear that herd of you running away from this article as fast as you can. Absurd! you huff. Never in a million years, you fume. Writer’s block is absolutely, undeniably, scientifically proven to be impossible to overcome.

Oh, just get over it! Well, I guess it’s not that easy. So try to sit down for just a few minutes and listen. All you have to do is listen ? you don’t have to actually write a single word.

Ah, there you all are again. I am beginning to make you out now that the cloud of dust is settling.

I am here to tell you that WRITER’S BLOCK CAN BE OVERCOME.

Please, remain seated.

There are ways to trick this nasty demon. Pick one, pick several, and give them a try. Soon, before you even have a chance for your heartbeat to accelerate, guess what? You’re writing.

Here are some tried and true methods of overcoming writer’s block:

1. Be prepared. The only thing to fear is fear itself. (I know, that’s a clich?but as soon as you start writing, feel free to improve on it.) If you spend some time mulling over your project before you actually sit down to write, you may be able to circumvent the worst of the crippling panic.

2. Forget perfectionism. No one ever writes a masterpiece in the first draft. Don’t put any expectations on your writing at all! In fact, tell yourself you’re going to write absolute garbage, and then give yourself permission to happily stink up your writing room.

3. Compose instead of editing. Never, never write your first draft with your monkey-mind sitting on your shoulder making snide editorial comments. Composing is a magical process. It surpasses the conscious mind by galaxies. It’s even incomprehensible to the conscious, editorial, monkey-mind. So prepare an ambush. Sit down at your computer or your desk. Take a deep breath and blow out all your thoughts. Let your finger hover over your keyboard or pick up your pen. And then pull a fake: appear to be about to begin to write, but instead, using your thumb and index finger of your dominant hand, flick that little annoying ugly monkey back into the barrel of laughs it came from. Then jump in ? quickly! Write, scribble, scream, howl, let everything loose, as long as you do it with a pen or your computer keyboard.

4. Forget the first sentence. You can sweat over that all-important one-liner when you’ve finished your piece. Skip it! Go for the middle or even the end. Start wherever you can. Chances are, when you read it over, the first line will be blinking its little neon
lights right at you from the depths of your composition.

5. Concentration. This is a hard one. Life throws us so many curve balls. How about thinking about your writing time as a little vacation from all those annoying worries. Banish them! Create a space, perhaps even a physical one, where nothing exists except the single present moment. If one of those irritating worries gets by you, stomp on it like you would an ugly bug!

6. Stop procrastinating. Write an outline. Keep your research notes within sight. Use someone else’s writing to get going. Babble incoherently on paper or on the computer if you have to.

Just do it! (I know, I stole that line from somewhere?). Tack up anything that could possibly help you to get going: notes, outlines, pictures of your grandmother. Put the cookie you will be allowed to eat when you finish your first draft within sight ? but
out of reach. Then pick up the same type of writing that you need to write, and read it. Then read it again. Soon, trust me, the fear will slowly fade away. As soon as it does, grab your keyboard ? and get writing!

Doing business, whether on the internet or on the street, is based on how people perceive you and what they know about you. It’s about how they feel about you as a business person. “Is this someone I want to do business with?”, they’ll ask. In other words, they want to know your reputation.

It was simpler when business was conducted within a small geographical area. I know most all of the business people in my little town. I do business with them person to person. I know the reputation of the business people in the towns and cities in my near geographical area. I can visit their locations and meet with their people. I know their reputation. I either trust them and give them my business or I don’t trust them and leave them alone.

How do I know if I can trust YOU?

How you know you can trust ME!

Marketing is Networking. Networking is based on contact with people, lots of people. Working with potential customers and partners depends on your reputation. So how do we do this when we’re not doing business face to face? There wasn’t a way until iKarma.com came along. Unlike LinkedIn and other similar networking sites, iKarma is about building a reputation on the web. A place where prospective clients and partners can go an make a decision to do business with you. I’m trying to build one. Remember that I asked how you know that you can trust me…

Here’s how you know you can trust ME!

I put my reputation out on the web. I place myself where people who have done business with me can post a review of my business practices with them. No matter what, I am there for all to see. Click on the image below and check me out.

Here’s a link to the iKarma tour presentation on their web site. If for no reason than to be informed, you should take the tour. Here’s where you can go to join iKarma. If you’re serious about having a presence on the web, then you should join up. Just so you’ll know, I don’t and won’t make anything if you join up. I don’t even take site donations.

So to roll this up, let me say that we all have the need to know with whom we’re doing business. We all want to “feel good” about our JVs or Partnerships. We all should have a reputation to protect. Why don’t we see more of our favorite “gurus” putting their reputation up for all to see? Maybe they will. Maybe this will catch on. I only hope so.

Today is Easter Sunday. Happy Easter to you all. Pesach or Passover has come and gone, Joshua the Anointed has risen from the tomb, and we’re all looking forward to a beautiful Spring season. A time for rebirth and rejuvenation. I know I could use some of that.

Now is the time to look forward and remember that today is the first day of the rest of your life. Live life as such. What has been done is done. Don’t look back, just look forward.

I know that sounds like a bunch of tired cliches. So they may be, but a good thought is a good thought. Lord knows we need a lot of positive thinking right now.

Lastly, here’s much love and appreciation to our troops, wherever they may be. As an Old Soldier myself, I know just how lonely holidays can be when you’re in the boondocks. God be with all our soldiers, sailors, airmen, and marines. We love you for your efforts and dedication to our freedom.

Again, let me wish a Happy Easter to you all and remind you to give thanks for your many blessings.
